Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to release 6,000 trout for Vernonia Lake fishing event


 

TILLAMOOK, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife invites new anglers to take part in its Family Fishing Event Saturday, May 6 at Vernonia Lake from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to the public and open to all. ODFW staff, and volunteers from the Association of Northwest Steelheaders will be on hand to assist those who want to learn how to fish.
